Advice for a 2nd gen?

I have been lurking for awhile because I love 4runners. I worked as a service writer at toyota dealership for about 3 yrs and never saw major issues with the runners. Dealt with corollas and prius issues mostly, I am selling my slammed 98 civic hatchback to buy something more friendly to my new enviroment, I just recently moved to the country, 3in of total ground clearance is not working out. I have my heart set on a 93 4runner with a 6in lift and 33in terra grapplers, v6 5spd, around 200k on the odometer, recent fresh engine.

My question is this, since I am not as familiar with the 4runners as I am with civics, what should I check for? I dont want to hit this with "rose colored glasses" so to speak simply because I like the way it looks and drives. What are the major areas of concern? I know about the frame rust issues with early trucks and 4runners but is that the only major problem? electrical? Mechanical? Any weak points?

Any help is much appreciated, I am purchasing it monday if everything goes well so help go at it informed please.

frame rust is a big concern, the 3.0 V6 head gasket problems would be next.
But if the engine is
recent fresh engine
that may not be an issue.
Otherwise, just normal parts wearing out on a 20 yr old truck w/200K on it.

If it was me I probably wouldn't buy a 6 inch lifted one. Other than that, the typical 3.0 probs. Check the normal things as you would any vehicle, otherwise they're tough vehicles.
