Advice needed on wheels

Mine would be bronze in a heartbeat if my truck was anything but silver

My last 2 4runners were silver and it didnt leave many color options for my wheels, either black.... or silver! I got a white one now.... and I'm about to buy some black wheels haha. SO, Mr. Keeler, paint your wheels bronze. Do it for the forum. And for LINY.

As long as you guys think bronze would look good with my gunmetal trim and flares. I'll do it. What's the worse that can happen, I don't like it and paint it a different color? Any body know of a rattle can or do I need to get some paint mixed?

I believe it's Duplicolor who makes wheel-specific paint in black, white, gunmetal or bronze...check your local advance or autozone and see if they have it...I'm sure you can get it online too...plan on using at the very least one can per wheel...also, it'd be best to bake the wheels before painting and between coats, if they fit in your oven...20 minutes at 125* after each coat!

If you are going to go black I used flat black BBQ paint, drys quick and its been super durable so far its been on for almost a year.

I painted the rings on my Eagle Alloys bronze. I really like the black and bronze color theme.

I can't remember the exact color name, but it was a Rustoleum product.

As long as you do it right, like bandit runner did his, you'll be golden (or bronzed, if you will). I think it'll look pretty legit. Let us know how it turns out...

Don't listen to this wussing out talk. Black looks better than bronze. I think you made a good choice, those look great.

Not to insult the bronze or anything, it is a great look, but I don't think it is a look I would want to look at everyday. The black may not be as much of a head turner, but it is a good look that I think you will be happy with for a long time.
