Advice needed on wheels

I have my runner that I want to make it look a little more rugged. I was thinking on having these wheels painted to a black or a gun metal like the trim. I just got the tires and wish I had gone a little more aggressive. What do you guys think? I can paint them, keep them like they are or maybe even trade them off. Will a 15" wheel fit on the 3rd Gen? Do you guys think that these tires would be ok for for some trail riding? I don't do any hard rockcrawling any more

IMO just paint those black. Some people use Plati-Dip as well. Search Plasti-dip and you can find what I'm talking about. basically a spray on rubber coating and best of all you can peel it off if you don't like it.

As far as 15" on your 4runer, I don't think they will fit due to the brake caliper size you have. If your runner came with 15s you can jump to 16s no problem because the calipers would not be an issue.

Hopefully someone will chime in and give you a for certain answer, but I think I've read up on this somewhere on here.

Raptor lined front stock bumper and gunmetal grey stock wheels with 285 Duratracs. Nothing special....just want a real front bumper but I'm probably going with tube anyway.

It's a custom built bumper a buddy and I did a few months ago. If you search my posts I did a little build thread on it. If You are interested we might be able to do another..

Go dark for sure. Black looks good but I like my gun metal grey ones too.
