Advice on Aftermarket wheels for 4th Gen

I have noticed that not too many people on here are using aftermarket wheels. I am looking into more rugged-looking wheels for my 2003 SR5 with 16" rims. I currently have the southeast Toyota original 16" Enkei rims. I have been looking at Ultra Type 164s, V-Tec Raptors and Vision Soft 8's, in the 16x8 category. The Raptors have 4.4" backspacing, the others 4" and 3". Doesn't seem like much of anyone is using these. Why is this? And Wheeler's has some steel wheels, but i heard these crush gas mileage. I DO have Spidertrax 1.25's if that matters for fitting. Any advice?

I don't know about anybody else but my only reason was our wheels are hub-centric & I know they make them hub-centric aftermarket but you have to make sure made in USA plus I like black so.....
