Hey guys,
I am a new owner of an 06 SR5 V6 and am looking for a set of tires. My last pickup truck had a set of Firestone Destination A/Ts which I really liked. They never left me stranded in the snow with 3 hard upstate NY winters but did get stuck in some mud once or twice.
Anyway, I have been reading great reviews on the Coopers and decided to get them a shot. So my main concerns are:
1 - Will I be ok with a 265/70/17 on a stock truck? I am planning a small spacer lift in the future but need tires asap.
2 - The V6 isn't the most powerful truck I have ever driven and it already feels a little sluggish hitting some long highwayhills. Will the bigger size hurt my acceleration that much?
3 - Will the P metrics be sufficient or are the LT C needed? I will use my truck on road 90 percent of the time and will be trailering 2-3 ATVS and a trailer once in a while (roughly 2500 lbs).
Thanks for your help!
