Advise/ Input on this Hood

This sport hood was just listed and has a little damage it appears over the drivers side headlight. They quoted me at 245 for it. Is that a good deal? I've already got an insert, but this is the whole package. I would have to get it painted though. Which I can get done for 100$. Does the damage seem minor enough to justify driving out there and paying 245 for a cosmetic part?

$245 is a lot for a damaged hood even if it's an easy 5 minute fix to bend it back. I paid $100 for a sport hood in very similar condition to this one and that price included some small interior stuff from the same 4Runner. When you go to the yard tell them you want to go to the 4Runner and take the hood off yourself and also look through the truck for some small interior things that your "missing" and are hard to describe. They usually drop the price if you do all the labor and bring it to them.

Alright thanks guys. I'll try and haggle them some when I get there. Truck looks to be in good shape, guess it was totaled from LBJ failure from the looks of it(other pictures).

Man they're only 84$ here but they haven't had them in stock in like a year. Ended up getting the hood for 200$ today and will sell the insert to make recoup some cash. That should pay for paint.

Do you have another scoop ? If you sell it then what are you going to do ?

$160 for a good scoop ? That's insane. Just make it with mesh call it day

Ive got 2 full inserts now. I already had a black one and now I have the silver one with the hood. I plan on selling the black one tomorrow or at least listing it.

This truck is McDonough,Ga for those interested. It's in good shape. 2002 2wd Sport edition. Only damage is from LBJ failure ok front left. Everything else looked fine expect for that area. Hate that they totaled it from poor PO maintenance

I just drove to the certifit down near the airport here in Georgia and got one. They had them in stock. Walked out paying a little over 92.00 after taxes. Call them once a week guy said they don't last long up there.
