here are some shots of the recent aditions to the 4runner. new retrofit, leveled rear and headlight covers. i waiting on my 01-02 grill to come so i can put it on.

I like your black rims!!

I could not figure out how to copy your photo as a quote, but in the last photo, what kind of headlamp is that?

You mean what car did the projector come out of? That housing as a total was custom made by him.

So which other additions did you do besides the headlights?

Everytime I see those rims and tires I think to myself "That's such a good combination".

i just installeed OME 906 rear coils to level the runner out as the rear was lower than the front from the previous owner. i also put headlight covers on as well i got them off ebay for 15 bucks shipped. next will be a new exhaust im tired of looking at a rusted tip and muffler. the projectors are out of a FX45 and the are bi xenon the complete headlight was built by me as a custom setup.

So that is what a "projector" headlamp looks like? I have heard this discussed here before, but was not aware of what they looked like.

Another, likely stupid, question:
How does everyone quote where it says "originally posted by ____"?

is that something you add in yourself with the italics code or is it a simplier trick (sorry to go off topic)
 
also forgot i made a custom undertray that mounts under the bumper as my dogs were getting at the under side wiring and chewing it all up...ill see if i can get some pics of it soon..

I just press "quote" right beside edit.

Who much did those projectors cost?
 
I really like the Limited cladding. Have you thought about color matching the grey plastic on the front bumper the rest of the cladding? Or would that be overkill?
 
Is that an actual Hilux Surf?

Anyone I've seen till now was right hand drive, which country has the left hand? Just for curiosity sakes.

Sweet ride by the way, the color combo and mods are awesome!
 
Cool, well done regardless, the Hilux makes it unique.

K2, I'm actually in Canada, unfortunatley all we get is the imported Japan ones which are RHD, that's the only thing stopping me from buying one. We have alot of imported 2nd gens running around with lockers and diesels, I'd snap one up if it were LHD.

nice i wouldnt mind a rhd hilux surf here in california it would be hella unique
 
I would love to see some night shots of your projector retrofit! Also, what color did you order your 01-02 grille? Black I assume? Anyways that will add a nice touch to your Hilux Surf, aka 4Runner!

i ordered my grille in the factory green color from my local dealer longo toyota as i used to work there. here are some night shots.
