After market sunroof question???

is it possible to put a aftermarket sunroof in a 03 4runner, if so, is it reliable, and how much, and where to get one

It's always possible... just never advisable. Don't listen to the dealer, aftermarket generally causes nothing but headaches.

funny thing, u can buy a 4r from a dealer & they will tell u a vec has a factory sunroof but there are companies some dealers use that install sunroofs for them, ask a one in ur area who they use. there was also a recall on one brand of SR (webasto) that they fixed for free. theres nothing wrong with a quality aftermarket sunroof but dont go cheap, it may cost 1500-2000 , also from what i understand some of the factory sunroofs have theyre own problems, do a search for them.

I paid 1200 for mine about 4 or 5 years ago now and its great, its an "Inalfa" sunroof/moonroof and I think its better than the stock ones.
