Aftermarket backup camera?

Hey all,

The previous owner of my 4th Gen installed a backup camera and I think it's toast now. It appears to be one of those cheap chinese ones from Amazon that sit where your license plate lights sit. I'm wondering if I should just get another one like it or a license plate bracket style one instead?

I read somewhere that the license plate holder ones are easier to install because you don't have to tear open the lift gate as much? Since this one is already installed I'm hoping the heavy lifting is done and I just need to swap out cable to cable and what not.

Thanks!

Thanks! I'm still wondering if this style is easier to install since these tend to crap out after a year or two...

Any thoughts? Or will the one you sent not be a big deal since I'm just replacing the same one anyway so most all of the wires are ran already.
