im running a flowmaster super44, its a deep loud. might not be what you want, also try cherrybomb vortex, its a deep sound, just not as deep as the flowmaster. i was thinking about switching to the borla xr1, i need something louder.

I ended up getting a magnaflow with new pipe and tip coming out the side behind the right rear tire instead of out the back. Love the growl it makes.

sounds good but not my taste i like them deeper more muscle sounding that has a rice sound to me.
But in the end it only matters to you and you likes :loco:

It sounds deeper in person for sure. Not quite as deep as a v8 of course but definitely deeper then the video makes it sound.

Be careful what you wish for, OP. A V6 is a V6, no matter if its in a 4Runner or that Honda down the road with the wing on the back (no lectures needed on firing order - I'm aware of the effects). In my opinion, all 6's sound like shit with a straight through (e.g. Borla) or even an "S" style (e.g. most "turbo") muffler. Chambered sound marginally better, but frankly they all sound terrible on a 6. Combine that with the fact that your cruising rpm will be right in the range where the muffler is making the most resonance, and you may not like the results.
I've watched (and listened) while my neighbor across the street in his very nice Tacoma V6 has gone from one exhaust setup to another, and they all sound absolutely terrible. He's not happy with all the time and money spent and is going back to a stock setup. If I were you, I'd make sure I actually rode in a truck with a sound you like, then duplicate that setup.

I figured I would post this here. Been looking at times and some searches also and come up with what is posted already.
Looking for a smaller in size muffler that isn't bulky like the stock one, one that doesn't stick out there and say smash me up when wheeling. Always having to pull lines to avoid hitting the dam thing.
I'm not to concern with the sound part, but, more for the purpose for what I want.
Anyone have experience or suggestions for one. TIA.
