Aftermarket front mud flaps?

I removed my front mud flaps to eliminate tire rubbing a while ago. Now that winter is coming, with the salt, rocks, etc, I wanted to have something there to protect the undercarriage a bit and keep it clean too. I drove around after the hurricane and had tons of dead grass and leaves build up under my front doors.

Has anyone had any luck with aftermarket mud flaps that fit better (possibly one of those thin universal ones)? If so, can you link me to any or recommend any in particular? Thanks.:hatsoff:

I used generic rally flaps on my other truck. Worked well for winter. I used aluminum rivets to install them.

Anybody think these would work well?

I'm worried about rock chips through the winter on the side of my truck as I 265/70/17 duratracs and 1.25" All-Pro wheel spacers up front.

I've seen the jaos and the ikea cutting board knock-offs but the ikea knock-offs aren't the colour I want (black) and i can't afford jaos!

You should be able to trim the factory mud flaps so that they don't rub. I'm running 275/65/18 Duratracs with Spidertrax and no rubbing. Another local member is running the Daystar 2.5/1.5 and 275/65/18 BFG ATs with Spidertrax and trimmed mud flaps with no rubbing.

I have trimmed my mud flaps to eliminate the rubbing so that's not an issue... it's the fact that with wheel spacers my tires, even with the OEM mud flaps, fling all sorts of crap up against the side of my truck.

I'm looking for mud flaps that'll stick out farther (maybe an inch) and/or go higher than the OEM ones.

Ah, got it now! Most have to remove the mud flaps due to rubbing with wheel spacers, so I thought that was the reason you were looking for aftermarket (lower profile)

[MENTION=107451]tnine[/MENTION] If you are looking for low profile you are probably better off trimming the OEMs. I on the other hand have some Rally Armors I haven't yet mounted yet though.

Sadly, I ended up not finding anything and just left my trimmed OEM mud flaps on. They don't do a lot of good but do stop a bit of snow/gravel/grease/etc.
