Aftermarket liftgate strut reliability

Preferably from those without a ladder and from a cold climate... Can anyone comment on the reliability of your aftermarket liftgate struts? Had any problems? How long have they been going now?

18-19 months with a pair from Amazon. Still working great better than the stock ones I replaced.

I've got a couple months on a set of strongarms from the local Advance. They had them in stock, and I ordered online for about $20 each. So far so good, although the original stocks lasted me 172,000 miles, which will be hard to beat.
