That's it, I'm no longer going to read through threads in this forum. I thought I had figured out my rear suspension plan and then I get into this post and another $400 flew out of my wallet before I could stop it. I'm not sure how or why, but my fingers logged onto the offending site (All-Pro Off-Road) and placed an order and gave my American Express card number before I realized what was happening.
Honestly, I find myself agreeing with both sides of the opinion to mod or not here. Yes, there are components that are more important and of course the intended use of your vehicle, as well as your budget, is a major factor for what mods are necessary, preferred, optional, etc. Having said that, I also feel that if budget allows (and the wife is sleeping and not paying attention to the credit card coming out of my wallet) beefing up, even slightly over building, suspension and other key components are critical to reliable and safe off-roading. I took one quick look under my truck and saw the thin, suspected week links (pun intended) and made the decision to upgrade. Why risk it?
