I know where you're coming from though. When I was looking for new wheels, you want to see them on a 4runner to get a better idea. I searched through a ton of pages on this forum looking.
I think it'd be harder for you since you don't really have it narrowed down to what you want. I had a specific style I was looking for.
For what it's worth - here are mine. I got these from a member here and am still deeply in love with them!
They're 18X9, 4.56" backspacing, -12mm offset

Lol.....didn't even notice that. I will have to try the Toyo's out the next time around. I have a buyer for these tires and those others are hard to get within a week so I am going KO's
For 8 to 9 inch widths anything with 4.0" to 4.5" of backspacing should put you at about the same tire placement as OEM plus spacers.
Also want to chime in that I had a set of pro comp 7069s mounted on my Sport Edition today and they have no issues clearing the larger sized front brake calipers, even without spacers.
Apparently Pro Comp has informed people in the past that this model won't fit the 4th gen SE due to the larger brakes, but there is a full finger-with of gap all around between the caliper and wheel on my rig.
So unless somehow my 4Runner is magic, the 7069s fit just fine..
