check out the 17" "Off road" by V-tec. It comes in Chrome, Alloy w/black, and full black out. The black out and alloy are about 3/5th the $ of the chrome. I have the Aalloys...they are a perfect fit and look great.
V-Tec looks pretty good. Question: what does “Machined Face” mean? It’s hard to tell from the pictures. Is it the same finish as the stock alloy wheels?
I think the SR5 wheels are machined on the "blade" area. If mine were actually here, I'd double check for you.
Machined face usually means that you'll have a nice uniform face because the wheel was cast (or forged) and then they actually used a lathe or mill to cut the face to the desired shape. My GTI's wheels have a machined face and it is unpainted, so you see the raw cut aluminum face (it has a clearcoat on it, of course). If you look closely, you can see the machining cut lines.

So the aftermarket rims are either machined or painted of combination of both. Then what type of finish do the stock T4R LTD alloys have?
I just noticed some black powdercoated 17x 7.5 Toyota FJ wheels with TRD center caps that fit 4Runners up on Ebay.Look sweet!

A few questions for the experts:
1) Will these fit our 2010 4Runners, specifically SR5?
2) The fill valves and wheel weights are NOT included, so will I need to purchase these separately or can I just reuse the ones from my stock SR5 rims?
3) If I DO need to purchase fill valves/wheel weights, are they expensive? I don't want to have to spend another $100+ on these, so all the better if I can reuse the ones from my SR5 wheels
Those look awesome! Too bad the wife will veto that one in a NY minute.![]()
factory backspacing is 4.5 inches. Don't go bigger then 4.75(like the fj wheels) or you will need spacers.does anyone know what the back spacing on the factor wheels is? What would people recommend for back spacing on aftermarket wheels so i wouldnt have to use wheels spacers. Thinking going 18 inch with a more aggressive AT tire same size as stock.
Are the 20" wheels on the limited hub centric or lug centric?:thanks:

They are hub centric.
Are all the 5th gen's hub centric or just the limited? I'm trying to put together a tire and wheel combo to get when I purchase my SR5. Right now I'm looking at the ATX thugs with 275/70/17 firestone destination AT's.
