Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Update

I'm getting to 9 wraps for 50 bucks, is that a good price?

They have 130k on the but still have the yota lable and correct color code.

(the other shocks were sold, sorry) but the guy resto's them so he said he keep my number and hit me up if he got anymore.

Yeah $50s a good price

Damn skippy fellers I was so excited when he called and I think he knew it, so he said I'll sell em for 50 since its gonna be 20 for gas. And the last set he sold was for 75. Oh yeah! Now I need to find a set up for the front.

What should I do? Since I'm going to have 9wraps, I'd like to sit a little level or a slight rake

Put some weight in the back and 3" lift for the front. You'll probably still have some rake

"hey bro why ya got 30lbs of sand bags in the back"
Me: If I take them out this b.m.f. Looks like a drag car!

haha, but really I was asking like what should I get for the front?

Spacer?

spacers will leave you with a fükton of rake. you'll want a 3 inch lift and a heavy rear bumper/hot tub in the back. if i can't find anyone to trade my 9wraps for something smaller, i'll be forced to go that route.

That's what I mean by weight in the back. Plus tools, recovery gear, etc...

As far as the front like I said, 3" lift

I know my subs will weight it down a little and Ill still have my spare on and I always carry a 200 piece craftsman set.

I guess I'll buy a midget and keep him in the back too.

But really I meant as for a 3" lift what should i go with? As you. An see I'm a bargain shopper. Should I do the tundras upfront with an 1" coil spacer?

Tundras up front with adjustable bilstein or eibach coils up frot with any random shock.

Is there just a flipped direct swap similar to lc? Or a part number on those coils because I've hardly heard of them and 1500's, I'm just unfamiliar to the whole set up.

Lemme do a little research on that.

How much of a budget? You can get the eibach/toytec 3" lift spring from toytec for I think it's $150. Also there is a 5% discount code that is somewhere on this forum for toytec.

Then ebay has a set of the tundra 5100 bilsteins for $139 shipped.

total price is around $300 for the front.

Or like tbst said, you can go with a cheaper shock but that's a good deal on those 5100's.

Hmmm well I was hoping spend around 2-300 on it, but i will do my research first.

Thanks guys.

Those tundra fronts on ebay for 140 shipped is a smokin deal. I would buy thems and build around them, whatever it maybe.

If I get tundras up front and add a 3/4" - 1"Spacer = 3 - 4"of lift is that too much? What's the max for the front? Id like a level truck or a very slight rake.

Don't know of a "max" for the front since you are 2wd. Don't know when thing get "stretched out". Someone else would have to chime in.

One thing to say about rake, and I am sure you have read this, is that it is normal. Every factory vehicle had it. I am not saying 12" of rake. Just a little bit hasn't hurt anyone.

Between the spacer and the Tundras, unless you get them dirt cheap, I feel like you could have the ToyTec eibach coils for the same price which would be a good setup with the LCs in the back.

You will still have rake though, IMO, if you have 9 wraps.

Yeah I'm expecting rake since its expected 5" of lift! But I guess I'll just give with it.

You guys have been great, thanks.

9 wraps in hand. AND

the guys restore l.c.'s and he had 12 when I got to his house. 2 empty frames and a body then 12 working ones. All or in the process of a full resto. I think I met my idol gents.
