Air bag info for towing

I’ve seen posts where they say what part number they bought but I need one for a 3”lift coil.

What model would that be?

Also no one ever discusses what they’re using to fill the air bag. I mean they don’t magically inflate so what “kit” is everyone running?

Air-Lift #60833 is a +2" bladder. #60750 is a +3" bladder. I have the #60833 in my '3in.' lift springs. They work well. I've had it for 10 years and had to replace the bladders @ 7 years due to cracking. In the FJ world some people were using the +3" bladder but had a difficult time stuffing the deflated bags into the spring due to lack of free space.

I have two vehicles with them. One has no gauge or connected compressor. I use a portable compressor and inflate them via the schrader valve. It's only used for load hauling occasionally so the manual air up/down works for this one. I have the Load Controller #25854 on the other vehicle since it hauls very often. It's worth the extra $200ish if used a lot...

Can't answer the first part of your question, but I had Ride-Rite airbags on my 2nd Gen Tacoma and my 2012 F-150 for towing purposes. I just used a bicycle pump to fill them up. You're likely only running 20-50 PSI in them. Took about as long to fill them as a mountain bike tire. Was a lot cheaper than and easier honestly than an electric compressor setup.

Either you fill it as you would your tires or add an onboard compressor such as this

I use a small bicycle pump. The kind that mounts to the frame of the bike. Depending on what PSI I’m after, it takes 20-40 strokes to reach my goal, which is normally 18 PSI.
