Would it equate to more "lift" if only one side was inflated?
I can't see how to level my rig with blocks when parked. The suspension compensates for the blocks
I have been following this thread, and the more you post, the more confused I get about what exactly you are trying to accomplish. Are you trying to level the vehicle while parked, at a campsite? Are you trying to achieve 'level' from front to rear, or side to side? When you say "The suspension compensates for the blocks". What do you mean?
If the vehicle is two inches out of level, side to side, and you put a 2" block under the tires on the low side, it should raise that side to equal the other side, and level the vehicle. If the vehicle is 2" out of level, front to rear, putting 2" blocks under the tires on the low side will level the vehicle that way. If you were to plumb the air lines separately to the rear air bags, and fill them to different levels, it would not raise one side much more that the other. And, you would need two separately controlled compressors, or in-line shutoff valves to be able to fill the two air bags to a different psi level. My air bags only increase the rear height about 1 to 1 1/2" when pumped to 20 psi, but at that psi, the rear suspension will no longer compress on the coil springs, and the ride is really severe. The air bag systems are designed to return the vehicle to its normal ride height when a heavy load is compressing the rear springs and causing the rear to sag below normal ride height.
Maybe a bit more information as to what the situation is that you are trying to correct, would better help us to assist you with helpful answers.
