Air coming from brake, is it normal?

When I press the brake pedal, I can hear air hissing sound from it. Just wondering if that indicates something's wrong with the brake system?

It's probably just the booster pump. If so, then it's completely normal.

Does the sound come from the pedal, or does it sound more like it's coming from under the hood?

It's from the pedal, not under the hood. So, there's no need send it to the dealer?

If you are 100% sure it is coming from the pedal, then I'm make an appointment right away. Especially when you consider that the pedal doesn't have any type of air/vacuum connection that should be making a hissing sound.

It's totally normal. Mine has done the same thing since new. It used to annoy the crap out of me, but I've learned to ignore it. That's what the dealer will tell you to do too.
