whats the best option for an air compressor mount one in the engine room or use a portable one didn't fine anything in a search on here

I have a portable compressor from Pep Boys: Master Flow

I bought one of these to take with me to the beach - so I can refill after lowering tire pressure for (legal) beach 4-wheeling.:

Not the most powerful. It takes a few minutes per tire, but was cheap, is light, and works.

I bought mine new, non-factory reconditioned, from a Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse, which may or may not operate in your state.

I used the Master Flow MF-50 (Tsunami) before I installed On-Board-Air in my truck. It has decent CFM (what's important, not PSI) and was on sale at Pep Boys for $30 at the time.

What's CFM?

Cubic Feet per Minute, which is more important when filling tires than PSI (Pounds per Square Inch). Having a pump that does 130 PSI doesn't mean a lot when your only going to 32 PSI.

ie, volume over pressure.
