Air Conditioner problem

The air conditioner on my 2006 sport edition 4-runner is blowing out warm air from the left two dash vents and cold air out of the right to dash vents. It doesn't matter if the air conditioner is set on auto or manual. Changing the temperature only increases or decreases the fan speed. Any thoughts on why this is happenning would be helpful. Is there some kind of damper system that maybe stuck?

Thanks in advance.

If you have the dual control system (separate controls for driver and passenger) you need to adjust the drivers side temperature. Look in the manual for how to do this.

I had the same thing on my GX, it was a leak caused by a defective O-ring. I believe it was in the front of the engine somewhere. They replaced the 0-ring and refilled the system. It was strange because the air from the passenger area was very cold but the drivers side was warm, no matter what I set the system to. Make the tech ride with you to see the problem as it took me 2 visits to get it fixed.
