Fuel Pump Control
By adopting a fuel pump control computer that controls the pump driving voltage in three steps according
to the necessary fuel quantity, noise reduction and life extension of the fuel pump have been achieved.
By adopting a liner type fuel pump control computer with PWM control, size and weight have been
reduced by comparing to conventional register-switching type computers and fuel efficiency has been
improved by suppressing the consumption electric power.
The fuel pump control computer receives the three steps of fuel pump with filter assembly operation
request signals (duty signals) from the ECM and operates the fuel pump with filter assembly.
In addition to when the engine is stopped, the fuel pump with filter assembly is stopped when the airbags
are deployed to reduce fuel leakage to minimum.
