I noticed yesterday that with the heat on full blast, if I switch the vent control from either face, or face and feet, to feet only, I get a pretty audible hiss from the driver side face vent. There is also some air coming out through it.
If I turn the heat off, and then set it to feet, and turn it back on, the hiss is gone and it's seemingly operating as normal.
If I switch to anything but feet only, and back to feet, the hiss returns.
It seems like the deflector that determines where the air is going, isn't fully shutting or something like that.
Was curious if anyone had experienced this, or had any places to begin to look and try to fix it. The noise is totally obnoxious.
