Airlift 1000 with OME 890 rear coils?

Has anyone used Airlift 1000 airbags with the OME 890 coils in the rear? I've been thinking of using this set up because I don't always carry additional weight in the back. I do tow an atv trailer and dirt bike hitch hauler on occasion, so I thought this would work better than the 891s. A rep. from the company recommended a different part# than the 4Runner application because they are about 2.5" longer and would work better for a 3" lift.

Thats the exact setup i run, It works well. I carry about 200lbs in the back and to me it looks like it sags a little with no air in the bag, but when the bags have about 15+-lbs in there it looks great and rides just fine. Ive had the back LOADED with easily 600-700lbs with a jetski trailer and 2 bikes on a strap on carrier. It sagged maybe an inch or 2. i really like it thats for sure.
I have the bags for a stock hieght 4runner because i ran them before my lift. The kit comes with 2.5in block spacers which i have sitting on top of the bag and it works perfect. I air them down for offroading for fear of popping them while flexed out. but thats not to hard. I have each one set up with their own valve so they can be filled independently
 
Thanks! Does the 2.5" block interfere with the rear flexing much when you off-road? When you had it loaded with 700lbs, did you infate the bags to the maximum psi.? I have Suzuki DR650 dual sport bike which I haul on a Versa Haul hitch carrier, which probably weighs about 425-450 lbs. total. Do you think the Airlift 1000 would work well with this?
 
never had them interfere with flexing becuase i installed them while i was stock so i didnt cut the cone bumpstops. the blocks just replaced the part that was cut off. They have a hole going through the center and thats where i routed the air line through. For your bike i think it would work great. Im not sure what the max psi is actually, i read somewhere it was 35 or something? thats that most i usually run at. its nice and stiff then too.
 
So if I would use your set-up, should I cut the cone bumpstop like the instructions say and add the 2.5" block included with the kit?
 
IMO yes, because it gives the bag a bigger surface to rest on. Where if you dont cut the cone, its a relatively small area and the bag will just form around it rather then lifting the back. I could be wrong. either way im happy with the say mine is setup. i may upgrade to 891's in the future but im not sure. I wish OME has a 890.5 or something, a spring rate right between 890s and 891's
 
Just a couple of quick questions; Do you have a top plate spacer on your 881s up front? Overall, how do you like the OME suspension set-up? I'm soon ready to order my lift, so I want to make sure that I'll make the right choice for my rig!
 
twitchee2, Where do you have the air valves mounted to? Also, do you have any pics of your rig with the Duratracs? I'm interested to see how it looks with that set-up. What are your ground to fender measurements?
 
I dont have any ground the fender measurement, but they are similar to most peoples on here. My valves are on the rear bumper facing down. Heres a couple pics.
