Do any of your cage bars penetrate the floor to the frame?

Looking good, I say leave the sunroof shade off and tint the window a little bit to help with heat, just me though.

Thanks Bobby! I was bummed I missed you guys last weekend, I needed to work.

I am still debating the options but like I said the sunroof leaks too, and I don't know if I want to bother replacing the seal if I can even find one.

The cage mounts to the floor with plates that sandwich the floor top and bottom, right next to and partially on top of each body mount. There is a frame tie-in kit, but the torture tests were done without frame tie-in so that is good enough for me.

One thing to check are the sunroof gutter drains. That seal isn't meant to keep all the water out and usually if it leaks into the cab, those drains are plugged. Silicone will keep outside water from leaking in, but condensation will build up inside the roof along the glass because of the heat that the glass retains when everything else cools down. That's why the roof rusted out of my last 4Runner.

Yea I know I need to clean the tubes and it might help, but there is a big gap on the seal in one spot and leaks bad and pours into the cab during hard rain when parked in my sloped driveway. I never remember to back into the driveway so the tubes will drain.

It's almost together now! Going to add another tack to each joint, tack the corner tube gussets in, and start burning it together. Waiting for the sun to dip some so I can cool off a bit.

Cage is painted. It sucked having to paint it in place lol. Just need to set it back in place and weld it together, and touch up paint

It's a front axle that is the correct width so he doesn't have to run huge spacers anymore.

The inside seal is torn pretty bad near the latch, I noticed yesterday. That explains why it really only leaked when parked uphill. I'm gonna silicone it shut.

What 4runningDaily said, Tacoma width front housing. I had 1.5" wheel spacers up front to match the wider IFS rear, now I will use the spacers in the back to match the new front until I swap the rear housing in the future.

The cage is done, I just need to attach my soft "oh shit" handles that I got from my buddy at Southeast Overland. For anyone considering a 4xinnovations cage, it is an awesome kit. My only issue was a few steps missing from the instructions for the full length kit (the same instructions are provided for the passenger length and full length kit), but I got it figured out.

Don't mind the mud stain.
