Finally going to start on this soon

Is that a Tacoma width housing? I was looking at those just a couple days ago, but all I did was look lol.

Yup! It comes with longer axle shafts too. So I can reuse my 30 spline longs and upgraded knuckles. I wish I had $$$ for 6 shooter knuckles, but I think the factory knuckles with ARP studs are fine for now.

Yeah I seen that it came with inners. I still need to upgrade to 30 spline axles in mine. Im sure my original 84 axles wont last forever lol. Then it will be time for a locker in the front lol.

I used factory birfs with 35's and a locker and was nervous all the time lol. I upgraded to longfield super axles at the same time I did the dual cases, and high pinion front diff with Yukon zip locker. Damn, that was an expensive winter!

I have quite a few parts to sell, so I went ahead and ordered 6 shooter knuckles. F*** it, might as well go ahead and build it how I really want. I found a pretty decent deal on them anyway

I think I'm gonna set the axle 1" forward, where it sits in these pics, on top of the 1" already from the springs.

I need a mount for my hydro assist ram, so I cut some pieces out of 1/4" plate. This is with a 4.5" grinder, cut off wheel, flap disk, and 3/4" hole saw in a cordless drill. I think it will work, I'll add a gusset to the outside.

Hate you so much right now.

I'm pretty sure a Taco width housing is going to be my next big buy. Full report please, I want to know if you run into any fitment issues with the driveshaft and undercarriage.

Everything looks great so far, it is a well-built housing. I only had to drill out the perch holes for the center pin. I'll let you know if any issues arise.

I almost finished the ram mount, but I ran out of wire. Sucks cause I wanted to weld the shock mounts tonight and have it ready for paint tomorrow. Oh well.

Looking good Andy. Maybe you can weld up some TC spindle gussets for my rig one day?
Let me know next time you're going wheeling man.

Yea I can do that for yah. I am trying to make it to URE Saturday, but I don't know if I will have this together Friday night, we'll see.

I finished the hydro ram mount and shock mounts. These are the TG rock assault shock mounts I ordered. I didn't like how they mounted so far out on the outside of the knuckle ball sleeve, they would have killed some up travel, so I modified them a bit

Seriously man, every time I check out your thread I get the itch to buy a welder. If, when I finally get around to learning, my welds look half as good as yours do I will consider myself lucky.
