i have the rs3000 vip in my98 limited and its a POS!could anyone tell me why it locks automatically sometimes even though i de-programed the passive arming mode.sometimes it does it on its own and sometimes it doesnt.last time it did it my keys were sitting on the seat.guess what happened next.anyway this alarm does weird shit like sometimes the piezo works when arming/disarming and sometime it doesnt.when it doesnt chirp it waits like 10-15 seconds and then chirps.this thing is possessed POS.can anyone help with a fix or with what part is broken?can i resolder unit anywhere or replace caps on board?sometimes stuff like that can be done i know b/c i own an old 750 bmw.i'll say no more.thanks ahead for all help.
