Albuquerque, NM Meet?

Hello Everyone! I was searching thru and didn't find anyone who lives in Albuquerque, NM. Wanted to see if we could get a meet/off-roading session going on for anyone living in Albuquerque/Rio Rancho NM? Please comment if you would be interested :)

well welcome! first thing I would say is when you have free time, scroll thru and read the discussions in the 4th gen column. Honestly thats where you learn the most, but when it comes to wheeling, alot comes from just going out there and doing it! in a smart way of course. #1 thing I would say especially before going wheeling, make sure your ride is completely caught up on all maintenance, and check boots, inspect suspension components etc. Have you done any mods or maintenance yet?
 
Only mod so far was the satoshi mod. I'll need to bring it in for a checkup since I bought it just to make sure everything is good.
 
85,000 miles, 2006. No records came with it. Any recommendations on getting a checkup? Just take it to a Toyota dealership?

Forgot to mention I got the Revtek 3" lift.

No I wouldn't go to the dealership. You can register at toyotaowners.com just to make sure no maintenance has been recorded being done at a dealership. but with those miles and not being sure what's been done, I'd say just inspect everything yourself. Get underneath look at all the suspension and drivetrain parts, look for any damage or leaks, etc.

When I got mine, I changed all the fluids in all 3 of the differentials (front,center,rear) and changed to synthetic gear fluid which I highly recommend doing as soon as you can to maximize life in those parts.

I'd even be willing to meet up sometime in next couple weeks just to check out rides, take a look at it for ya, maybe even do some roading :biggrin2:
 
Looks like there's been two events happen with the power windows in 2007, an oil change in 2007 and something with the A/C. The A/C looks like a recharge but not sure.

Sweet! are you in Abq? I currently have stock FJ shocks/springs, but i just bought some TRD shocks/springs so Im going to need to do the swap next weekend. Are you busy mondays? You can PM me your response to this lol
 
New to Forum

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, but I would love to be able to arrange off-road trips with fellow Yota-Lovers. I have an '86 4unner Turbo, locked front and rear with Marlin Crawler diffs. I'm riding on 33-inch General Grabbers, Bilstein shocks, helper springs, and a body lift. I think we need to get a Moab trip together and show those Jeepers that the Easter Safari is for posers!
