alignment in 3hours

I'm getting an alignment in a few hours. I put an OW lift on my sr5 and remember seeing a post about different alignment specs other than the factory settings on a post that I can't find. Any suggestions, advice, or experiences would be appreciated thanks in advance.

I think you are talking about the camber? I remember something about setting it to 4.0. It makes the ride more stable. Factory is 2.5 I think. I'll try to find the post.

Actually, it's CASTER you want, not camber. Here's a thread on it.

Thank you that was it I couldn't find it for some reason told the tech and gave him the sheet that came with my uca's and explaind the +4 should be fine he said. Thanks again for the speedy response. Well see how it turns out.

Let me know how it turns out. I'll be getting my 5K service in a few months and will probably be getting mine done as well.

Hour and a half and there still fighting with it might be taking it somewhere else after suspension settles a bit more, ill see how it drives if I get it back. At least it should be closer than when I brought it in.

They really don't appreciate my input don't blame them much. At least its free can't really complain I guess. I absolutely hate other people wrenching on my rig. I just can't swing an alignment rack just yet.

Anybody know a good alignment shop east of Seattle WA. that speaks lifted Toyota.

If you have light racing uca's and your dealerships techs are anything like mine I wouldn't take it there for an alignment unless its free and you know of a good shop to do it proper later.

They couldn't get anything in spec. as per what I was told. I asked for the printout of the results and they told me the printer ate them and they don't have them. It was a 2 1/2 hour fiasco.

All that said it drives decent feels like I'll have to tweak it a little I'm going to go through and re-torque everything. Theres a bit of a thump from the rear when I hit good size bumps at speed. I might spring for a adjustable pan hard bar. The rear OW lift springs are fairly high and it looks to be pulling the axle over to the passenger side a bit. I'm thinking that replacing that might align the rear better allowing less binding.
