All over the road??

I first purchased my '99 4 Runner with 120K on it. It rode super smooth, which was one of the main reasons I purchased it. I am up to 195K and for the past 50K the ride has turned horrific. I feel every bump in the road. The wheels feel loose, for lack of a better description. I will hit bumps in the highway and literally feel the wheels slide out 'from underneath', again for lack of a better description. I had the shocks changed and this didn't change anything. Any ideas?

Also I am getting my cat converter changed. Anyone have advice as to some quality in relation to price cats for around $150-200? Anything I should be aware of? Is my price range off? Things to look out for?

How are the tires? What about your sway bar bushings, lower ball joints, end links these will make ur ride lazy and loose

All of those need to be done, and do it soon. Lower ball joints cause bad crashes if they fail. For the steering rack bushing kit and sway bar bushing kit, go to wheelers off road website under 4runners.

Your shocks are probably also pretty worn out.
