Has anyone watched this show? You can watch the whole first season online:

A good friend of mine has been a hunting guide for most of his life, and applied to be on a similar show(Out of the Wild: Alaska Experiment) and he was rejected because he had too much outdoors experience. I thought 'Alone' would be different because of the disclaimer that these guys are all outdoor professionals, but if you look at their bios they are all just pretty casual outdoor enthusiasts. Taking them into Alaska was WAYYY out of their depth for most of them. Makes you realize just how soft and incapable most people really are these days.
Its pretty entertaining and gives me a break from having to watch the friggin housewives with my girlfriend(THANK THE GOOD LORD).
It was pretty interesting to watch some of the guys personalities change with the extended isolation. But only 40ish days?(season finale revealing the winner and total days is this Thursday). They were tasked with living out there for up to a year.
