Alpine TME-M740BT monitor.......

Anyone using one? It shows that it's a 7" touchscreen with blue tooth built in.

What I want to know is, if you use it with an IVA-W205, does it have touch screen controls of the navi and dvd and other controls like the head unit's monitor would as well???

That would be frickin awesome if it did, you could have full control from any monitor....... Please tell me this is the case......:awais:

I have one in the Accord. I'm actually planning to move it to the 4Runner sometime soon.

Anyways, it's a great product, and it works very well.

I can't comment on integrating it with the w205. I know that it can control the Alpine Blackbird and the NVE-N872A by touchscreen control. It will also control the Vehicle Hub Pro, which I have connected to it.

I haven't heard of anyone integrating it with the w205. I know of a guy on the Accord forums that is planning on getting a couple and has a w200 and is planning on integrating the monitors. He hasn't installed the w200 for good yet, I don't think. He doesn't have the monitors either, but I'll ask him if he knows. I know he has spoken to Alpine tech support quite a bit.

I would suggest that you call Alpine tech support though. They should be able to tell you if you can control the w205 from the m740bt.

I honestly don't see a purpose from needing to control the Navi from another place other than the main headunit though. The DVD on the other hand..

Agreed on the navi control, but would still be "cool". I'm more interested in being able to control the dvd player, and being able to change from DVD to stereo etc from the monitors in the back, in case we go on a trip somewhere in the 4Runner and I sit in the back with the kids to keep them entertained, or the wife sits there. Just nice to not have to bother who's driving to control the entertainment.

I hear ya on the dvd control and having the kids to be able to control it. It is definitely something to ask Alpine tech support about. 1-800-ALPINE-1 (1-800-257-4631) is their phone number here in the states. I believe their tech support line is M-F 8 - 5 PST.

Anyways, I'm on gen7accord, driveaccord, and everything-honda mostly. I'm not on V6P very much anymore, but am a member there.

My dad had an 88. I kindof wish we kept it, I would definitely keep it as a project car nowadays. I kindof wish I kept my old 2000 also, it was paid off.

Anyways, if you have more questions regarding the TME-M740BT, I'll try and answer what I can. I have it connected to a Vehicle Hub Pro (VPA-B222), and I'm planning on adding a cd changer to the system soon.

Sorry I couldn't be more help regarding the navi and dvd control though.
