I actually had to not visit this site for about a month because every thread was in the 5th Gen section and the repetitive questions from new 5th Gen 4Runner owners gave me an uncontrollable bout of turrets.

I added a TRD intake and routed it up to the hood scoop. I havent dynoed it yet but I would guess a +25hp yield

That seems low since the hood scoop alone should add 50hp. Are you using an OEM paper filter on the intake? That might be your problem. You should switch it up to a platinum one for the best performance. I have one that I could sell you for $500 or I would trade it straight across for a Genuine Toyota hitch cover.

haha...so true! Well, I am priding myself for at least not slinking back over to Ford (not that there is anything wrong with that) when I wanted to get back to a full sized truck again.

Actually, I still own a 4th Gen 4Runner so I still have some cred for being here...maybe?

I chose that option, given the choices it is the most accurate for me. As stated when I hit the ivory tower status of "senior member" it just proves you don't have to know anything to open your mouth a lot on the forum.

I have a lot of crap to bring to the table so I felt it inappropriate to choose that answer. I do have knowledge, it just doesn't mean it is correct knowledge.
