I am having no issues right now, but with 180k on it, and I live and work so remote, thought I would replace the brushes as preventative.

so I came up with this part #2737075060
and I thought that is what I have read in other threads, yet when I went to order from camelback the site says it cant confirm it fits my vehicle. I have no phone service right now to call them.

so is that the number ?

because of my remote location, no phones, no cell service, we make our own electricity, ( emergency sat phone) I cant watch Mtbtim video , which I know has the numbers
and we are not allowed to do voice over internet....... nor download or stream, but they allow me to do this on my time off

working for the govt, have to play by their rules
well at least some of us do.....I'm in Oregon, not Washington dc

You are correct. Make sure to remove the negative battery terminal before removing the alternator.

Nearly all toyota cars/trucks uses the same brush kit. I have the same brush kit in 92 corolla, 97 4runner and 00 cruiser!
See this video from TIM on youtube: 2:31 minute mark shows the part number

thanks, now I will complete the rest of my order

I was going to pull the battery anyway, for more wiggle room for my old hands, and clean that area up at the same time
