Alternator Dead. 4 days after Warranty Ended.

ETA Fixed

The alternator was dead. It took out a fuse in it's way out. Unclear on the why. They said it looks like a straight up defect. I have no idea how they can make that call.

BUT the service manager called me and told me it's covered and he's having my oil changed since it's due. Nice touch.

I guess I need to take back my *****ing. Thanks to all the commenters.

I ended up with the actual service department manager. Earlier, I'd apparently spoken with his stand in while he was out of the building.

Manager didn't even hesitate.
