alternator pluggin

installed a small block chevy and know i need to know what the pluggin on the alternator is for and if i can reuse them on the chevy alternator

On the 3-pin connector-
Yellow wire goes to B terminal
White wire goes to S terminal
Red wire goes to IG terminal

Single heavy white wire is out to batt

Match them up to same terminals on the GM alt.

Or get/convert to a one-wire alt, that's how I did it on my 83.

you mean the ground that does to the negative side of battery

NO, the heavy white wire is the +12V output.
