Can pick up a brand new 1999 80amp off Amazon for $80.....will it fit my 1998??

I have a Duralast from AZ sitting here that I picked up tonight; I hate to go the reman route but these things always seem to happen at the most inopportune times!!

I don't remember there being any difference when I changed out mine. But I'm not 100% sure though.

Yes. I put a 1999 Denso 18A in my 1998, it fits perfectly.

Thanks....guess I'm renting a car for a day waiting on the alt to get here from Amazon. Taking the Duralast reman back in the morning.

Time crunch prevailed and I settled for :puke: Duralast.......

Kept my OEM though and there's an alternator rebuild place nor far from me and they're telling me $20 plus parts to repair it. I'll keep the original for when, not if the Duralast craps out.
