Now a days I see them for $100-200
Also, I've seen them factory installed on non power package trucks.

After some additional research I found a photo of a 1987 4runner window sticker that has the inclinometer listed under the standard equipment list for a SR5 as "Tilt wheel TLT. & Inclinometer". If anyone has there window sticker or a sales brochure I'd be interested in which models they came with and how much they were if a stand alone option.

Have a look on top4runners.com. They have a list of standard/optional/not available for some 84-89 model years. It looks like '87 had it standard for all models except dlx and in '89 it wasn't listed as an option at all for any trim level. Maybe it went away after '87? Mine is a fully loaded '88 SR5 and no factory tilt meter.
I have a loaded (every option available) SR5 and it did NOT come with an inclinometer so I guess you never know. Must have been one of those options that weren't really part of a package.
I think I got mine for like $117 on eBay.
It isn't the hardest job in the world to install one, just takes time, patience, and the reasoning to not pull on a part of the dash that doesn't easily come off (must find all screws).
So you have the super rare plug in trouble light then???[emoji6]
