Totota 2014 Radio Reception Problems
Hi, I am new to the forum so please understand if I mess up my post.
I have 2 2014 Toyota vehicles (4Runner Limited and Corolla Sport). On both vehicles we are experiencing issues with radio reception. I consider myself to be an audiophile. I love the highs and lows equally. When driving in the city, or in the rural areas, we can tune in the stations. What happens is the music goes from high crisp sounding volume to low almost mono sounding music. It happens when I turn corners and driving down the highway. You can hear a considerable drop in the volume and the highs are gone.
One car has the JBL HD System (4Runner) and the other one has a standard touchscreen radio (no sat or HD). I took it to the dealer prior to tinting my rear window out of fear they were going to blame the tint work. I purchased ceramic tint so that is a non-issue anyway. The dealer blamed it on the radio station saying they are the issue. I drive my company Dodge vehicle and do not experience any issues at all.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
