Thats funny, i think he owes somebody for gambling debts or something. Why would you take a picture of the key code and post it with the car photos for sale on craigs list?? And the alpine was "top of the line" when that truck sold new.
P.S. MAYBE HE MISPLACED A COMMA AND FORGOT A ZERO,or PUT A 1 IN FRONT OF HIS REAL #

I'm just good at buying/selling things.
Took me about a year to sell the 96... I've already had offers of $16.5 for my 97.

If you think those wheels are expensive check out other wheels that I have sold:

Well theres the answer

OK check this out guys. here the craiglist post, look at the house in the background of the pics, then look at this house in these pics. Is it just me or does that house look the same and the same t4r.

1997 4runner SR5 4wd / 4x4 SUV manual transmission *low miles*

the guys name on here is gumballf355 this is funny!

Uh, yeah, that's already been established...

you might as well just buy a for sale sign and write $25,000 on it... drive around for a year or two and see what happens lol

$16,500 - unbelievable, I'm sure some sucker will buy it. I would rather buy 3 decent running 3rd Gens for that price and have doubles of every part I will ever need if something breaks/gets dented or smashed.

It is definitely way too high, but it is also the Bay Area. Someone will buy it for around that price. Just look at his other sale on his 96 http://www.toyota-4runner.org/class...smission-w-rare-rear-diff-lock-13000-san.html. Noone thought he would get close to that much, but he was $500 under his asking price.
I would rather get one with 100k for about 7-8k and put 10k into mods, but that is me. Some idiot will pay that much and realize he has a run of the mill 3rd gen with low miles, no locker, no 99 upgrades and he spent the same amount as a 4th gen.

The more everyone asks for thier 4runner, the better I think they will hold thier value.

I hope someone gives him 18 k :thumb3:

If anyone is interested Rusty is for sale for $12k, hes got 170k on him, but you dont need to remove the running boards, and ive done plenty of 99 mods to him. Rusty will easily go past 300k miles anyway. This is a BARGAIN compared too $18.5k

Now there's a constructive thought. Just let his ad make you feel that much better about our Runners. His sales will be what they be, doesn't make it right or wrong. But if he has time to 'sell' a car for a whole year, then the more power to him.

If that joker gets more than 10K for it and I ever see the jacka$$ that bought it on here I will drive from Texas to the Bay and personally slap that dumb S.O.B.
