hey guys. ive had my 4runner since about august and i just got around to towing something. i was opening up my towing kit thingy that came with it (i have a 2005 v8 with towing package) and it doesnt have a ball? it has the pin and the thingy that connects tot he ball but no ball. Should a ball have been included? or do i need to go out and buy one?

The ball is a separate item. My tow kit did NOT include a ball either. You should have the wire harness though, that is included.

The harness was installed on mine from the factory. The part in the glove compartment is for adding a trailer brake controller.
