Any time I see a BMW, Mercedes, etc with black rims is usually a non-stock vehicle and an older vehicle that a young punk purchased for $510k. It's then ghetto'd up with cheap black rims. This is so typical and looks so damn cheap

You are definitely not alone. There are a few vehicles and color schemes that can pull it off. Every time I see them It reminds me of older cars and those ugly black steelies they used for spares. Not to mention Everybody seems to put them on their trucks these days. Up here every pickup has moto metal black wheels on them. I just say to myself Congrats...now you are like everybody else.

Color me ghetto. I love black wheels.
If I ever have your cars, not likely will happened. The first thing I'll do is listing them tires and rims on CL for cheap.

its so common to see black rims on cheap cars. What i mean by cheap cars are like used BMW, Mercedes, Civics, etc. and then they get punked out with black ugly rims... you look over at the driver and no doubt, its some young punk.

Ha, though I'm tempted to say that no one with any class even drives a car with "rims". On my truck I have black "wheels", no rims to be found anywhere!
Ok that's not true, a "rim" is actually part OF the wheel. But definitely not the entire wheel. When I hear the term "rims" used in place of "wheels" I instantly think 15 year olds talking about their bikes.

Rice not ghetto at all brother ! Wheels sit well with it tucked inside the wheel well and looks good with black. Now let's say you have a 1998 crown Vic 4door with dents and ripped inerior with wheels that cost more than what car is worth. Now you are talking ghetto
