Anyone order from them recently? There are mixed reviews over the years, but I have a big order and their prices are hard to beat. Thanks.

There is good and bad. I wanted to buy a brake vacuum pump for our Hilux diesel alternator. Their price was less so I ordered it along with several other parts. They did preliminary parts inquiry from their supplier and said everything can be supplied. Then after 4-5 days later I made the payment. Within days they said the vacuum pump is no longer available at that price so they asked me to either put more money to get it at the new price or do a refund. Issue with the refund was if that pump is not included, then I am not making a good deal due to several other parts are expensive with them and I have to buy it from partsouq.com (which is THE BEST store so far for me: absolutely no complaints) and pay again for shipping. I asked them to do a full refund, they said OK. Then they sourced other parts and asked me to confirm before shipping those. I then insisted to make a full refund. They said OK and on the following day, they are ready to ship what ever the parts they had. I then filed a complain with paypal and got the full refund in 2 days.

Would I buy from them, yes, but I will be skeptical when they have certain parts at excessively discounted!
PartsOUQ has NEVEr given any headache as far as I know to anyone.

Other than being needing to be careful about what is available (not discontinued, I mean), they are legit and good. I have ordered many things from them over the years.

I've ordered from Amayama about 6 or 7 times over about 10 years, but not in the last couple of years. The last couple of times I used them, they made mistakes like shipping one item when I had ordered/payed for 2, etc. Maybe they went downhill. Parts Souq was fine the couple times I used them.

I've used them a lot. They are a good supplier and you can often save a lot of $ by using them. Things get tricky with discontinued parts, but they are usually flexible.

Yup, I use them quite a bit, great pricing but you have to be careful with shipping - it can be unexpectedly expensive. Sometimes ordering domestic is the better deal due to the shipping fees from either Japan or the UAE. Do your research.

I've used Amayama several times over the years. If placing a large order it can take awhile to optimize the part price vs shipping if you need to get from UAE and Japan. Also, if the part is larger than say 12"x12"x12" the shipping estimate is probably going to be inaccurate. Same thing if the part is heavier than say 5lb. International shipping has much lower size/weight price points compared to domestic shipping. If I have time to wait and several parts that I need to order then Amayama is my first stop, but I still price comparison. Overall I do recommend them to everyone but be mindful of shipping times/location/cost.

Shipping can get a little weird because the initial/quoted shipping cost can increase once the order is approved for payment. But so far, even with the fluctuation in shipping charges, it has always ended up being cheaper than buying anywhere else for me & you have the option of cancelling your order before payment if the costs are too high. I've used them quite a bit & more frequently over the last couple years since a lot of the domestic Toyota part suppliers websites got harder to navigate & increased their prices.

Yup... one of my vehicles has rotors only available through Toyota Japan (ST205 Celica rear brakes) - $150 for the rotor pair, $300 for shipping...

I wanted to purchase a set of stock rear lower control arm bushings for future use and saw they were around $40 each - from McGeorge. So I took a chance and went through the somewhat convoluted Amayama ordering process.
After a few weeks, I received four factory bushings straight from Japan for around $80, shipped. No complaints.

Small, lightweight parts keep the shipping costs low. I have found that the expensive shipping for heavier parts make the whole purchase end up being the approximately the same cost as buying here in the USA.
