Amber display went half dark......

Hi all, my amber display went half dark this morning, the right side....the display where the time/temp/air direction/etc. is. Never did that before, I tapped the top of it, on the ledge, and it came back on......what gives?

It is an easy do it yourself fix. There are instruction on how to disassemble the center stack. Should take at most 10 minutes but you will most definitely blow the HVAC bulbs during the process.

I stumbled across this forum trying to find out how to replace these bulbs in order to save some cash. Dealer wanted about 200 bucks to do this...c-r-a-z-y! So although you won't be getting paid in cash for posting this link, I am very grateful for you taking the time to post it again! Was able to replace the bulbs in about 10mins. Please accept this virtual beer as a token of my appreciation...cheers! :cheers:
