I'm looking at a set of American Racing Craters w/ Teflon laced with some BFG All Terrain KO's. its 650 for the set of four, or 400 for tires only. 10,000 miles old. for an 01' 4runner limited, tire size is 265/70/16.
My question is...will the backspacing be correct and will everything else line up correctly for direct installation of these rims? I have no idea what backspacing means except that it affects the tires location on the axel axis.
Other question is...will my stock lugs work on these rims? per american racing, "It is direct bolt with conical seat lug holes for use with acorn style lugs."
Or would you guys recommend taking just the tires for 400? I thought for just 250 extra, some black rims might be a nice change of pace, but read some other forums stating the stock alloys were stronger than these AR rims???? I don't do off roading besides some curbs and I'll spend a day doing minor off roading in moab in a couple weeks.
