I don't know if you still get best deals at shows, since CA has crappy ones that aren't worth attending... at least NorCal ones...I hate this state...)
I usually wait for the gun show here in SoCal and buy reloads for the range. Last time I bought 1k 9mm rounds for $150 or something around that. I have a couple boxes of nice ammo at home too.
So are you saying you're not old enough to buy ammo or you just don't wanna pull out your id? They have to ID you unless you could be old enough to be their father. It's policy.
I'm 30. Not worried about crap. But I'll be damned to be ID'd over my purchases because some dumbass wants to snort seafoam or inject brake cleaner or drink paint. Let them do it and if they die then so be it. One less dummy in the world. Just like all the other "safety"measures put into place in the world, it only slows down and disrupts the honest citizen. Same goes for their policy of checking my basket when I leave. I paid for my items and you checking them a second time insinuates that I'm a thief and you don't trust me which is insulting to me.
I understand it's their policy and I can respect it but that doesn't mean I have to shop there and support it.
You must have a pretty liberal Walmart then, mine doesn't ID for anything except ammo and tobacco, not car stuff that's weird. They also don't check my cart. Maybe you just look suspicious
I live in a fairly small town so you wouldn't think it'd be like this but the city beside us is as liberal as they come so I'd imagine it's bled over. Either way, Wal-Mart won't get another dime of my money if I can help it. Thank you for your insight though haha
As far as suspicious goes, I'm a 6' 185lb bearded white guy in a ball cap and tennis shoes. Guess since I'm the minority in there they must think I'm up to something HAHA
