amp bypass anyone installed metra70-8117

Could you be more specific? Which system is it for? I'm going to assume its for the JBL system.

yeah to the jbl 10 speaker system i have a 03 4runner limited I really dont care if all 10 speakers work. I installed the scoshe kit to power the stock jbl on but it seems like it fades in and out on songs mainly fast paced rock so i wanted more direct to the alpine headunit any input would be good thanks

i cant remember what exactly the part number is, but yes its 100% easy and possible to run the JBL system with an aftermarket deck...

Has anybody used the Metra 70-8117. I plan on bypassing the factory amp and installing a 5channel. For now I still will use the factory mids and highs, might go ahead and replace the sub.
1) Is there a way to still use the factory center dash speaker?

2) The front and rear tweeters are they on a sperate channel or are they tied in the same channel and the front and rear?

3) Anything else I need to know when using this harness? Or is it really just plug and play?
