Amp location

It's getting closer when my Eclipse AVN5495 will be in so I'm thinking about where to mount my amps.. I noticed one member mounted his on the back of the rear seats. That sounds like a good idea other then the metal backing is real cheap on the seats and screws will strip easy. Has anyone mounted on the back side of the rear seats using bolts and nuts. I know you would have to remove the fabric on the seats to do it..

I have the amp for my sub attached to the back seat, and will be putting the 4ch amp for the other speakers under the driver's seat when I get my AVN5435 in. I had Tweeters an electronic store do the installation so I can't tell you how they did it.

Hey, would anyone have any recommendations on best way on attaching an Ipod to the Eclipse navigation system? Currently, I'm leaning on runing RCA cables connected to the CD changer input to the center console storage area. I'm also going to connect a TV tuner to the same location and am considering upgrading to a picture IPOD and getting the video out components and sending it to the navigation screen. I wasn't willing to pay the extra $500+ for the hard drive model, so I'm trying to come up with the next best alternative.

I hear on the extra cash for the 5495!! It has more options then the 5435 so I decided on the 5495. I was able to secure it for 2299.00 and they threw in a Sirius tuner of my choice..
