Amp placement

I was wondering if anyone had any info for me about amp placement. I currently have two amps mounted behind the sub box. I want to get rid of them and hide them. I was thinking under the seats but they don't look like they fit. What have you done?

what amps u have? i knoe my jl audio slash series amp fit perfect under both seats.

I'm mounting the 2 of mine to the back of my back seats. You can put it under your seat, but I heard that they can overheat like that and lose power

when u say behind the sub box is it an aftermarket enclosure or the one mounted to the side cargo area? i ask cause there may be enough room to mount them behind the removable side cargo panel if they're not too large.

Yes, it depends on what type of amp you have too. If it's an 'A' or 'B' and it runs hot, on the rare occasion under the seat may cause overheating. If it's a digital amp like the Alpine PDX, JL HDs, you will be fine. I have my JL digital amp underneath my passenger seat and it works fine without heat issues.
