And for just $17k...

$17,000?! What the hell is wrong with people......

I don't care if it's a Toyota or not, it's still an 18 year old SUV with 160,000 miles on it.

That place always has things like that. Super mint, but INSANELY priced. They try to sell 04 double cab tacomas for $23k.

It is a lot different out here than MI. I just pulled a hitch off of a junkyard rig this weekend...16 year old bolts that didn't require a torch or PB blaster. However, 4x excellent blue book is nuts. Are these things collectables already? Can we start showing them at car shows?

They always have lower mileage clean dodges with the Cummins trucks in stock but they know what they have and they want a lot for it. Problem is, when I lived in the PNW people paid those prices...

FWIW, I've watched a few stock Sport/Highlanders get bid up to over $12k on eBay the past few months. Granted, there are plenty that don't get that high at all... but usually higher mileage.

While, I disagree that IJM is the best color... I will concede that is 2nd best to black. :)

Also, here's a (currently) more reasonable priced lower mileage, clean '02 Sport:
2002 Toyota 4Runner SR5 | eBay

This one I watched hit over $12k a couple months ago and not meet reserve, but most recently it only made it up to just over $9k. I'm surprised it's still not sold... you'd think a couple months they'd lower the reserve.

$17k is a crazy price. There's a lifted non-sport edition on eBay with $17k BIN obo as well.... insane! I wish mine was clean with lower miles if I could get those kinda prices!

Throw some method wheels (or in this case race line), a lightbar & a roof basket & you just increased the value of your truck by 10k!

You guys would be surprised what they get for their rigs.
Super easy goin place. I looked at a couple 3rd gens there, and most of their rigs look mint. They charge a premium, but they make sure- the best they can- that their rigs won't have any issues. Always have new tires- sometimes wheels, timing belts/wp, polished paint, engine bays look new, never any upholstery rips...
They were asking $11k for a '99 I was looking at. I offered them $9k, and they said no way; the most they would come down is $1k.
I know it sounds crazy, but their rigs aren't normally listed for very long, so obviously they sell.
You can roll up to their warehouse, and they'll let you take "whatever you feel comfortable with".
I swear I didn't even have to give them any of my info, and dude just said "keys are in everything".

Was the 99 a red 5 speed? I watch their stuff. It all looks so clean and I've been tempted to head up there and test a few...this posting was just such a huge price increase compared to some of the other nice ones they've had.

What? IJM '99 5-speeds are worth their weight in gold! RARE, he says.

Interesting he does not specify rear locker. From the pics at the link I don't see the switch. Not ALL Highlanders came with locker. For $17k I'd want a dang locker.

That makes it the same as mine except for the hood scoop and painted bumper and the wheels, tires, rack and bull bar. (Is it really lifted, or just the tall '99 like mine was from the factory? Why no lift specs?)

They are local to me and the only thing good about those prices is that they helped me get a better settlement when I wrecked my old runner... great to have nutty priced comps out there!

Clean, but that guy is smoking something. Ill tell you what. Ill sell mine for half with lower miles lol. 17k....
